What's Happenin' at Coliision

Below is a brief summary of what we have been talking about recently.  Most of the time we teach through a series for several weeks at a time that way students that miss can get caught back up quickly, and so we can dissect a topic more fully than just a one night deal. Use the overview and questions for both you and your teen to answer and have a dialog that continues outside the church walls and into your homes.  Use this opportunity to see what God is teaching your student and also allow your student to see what God is teaching/taught you.

This Week at Collision

Series Overview

Never before has our culture placed such a large target on the message of the Cross as it does today.  There is religious tolerance and abuse around everywhere except for the message of the Christian faith.  And while those in a place of persuasion have done many things to taint our reputation to the world, there is still a message that must get out.  That message is that until Christ's return, those who wish to see the message of the cross undone, they are still welcomed and loved by an almighty God.  So it's only fitting that we entitle this series "In the Cross hairs" because the culture has the message of the cross in it's cross hairs for defeat and the church should have the culture in it's cross hairs to share Christ's love.

Week 2 (2015-03-25)

Tonight we talked about the confidence we can have that the resurrection of Christ really did happen.  Ya know, as Christians we are asked to accept things based on faith, but the resurrection is one event that we can look to historical proof to base our claim.  Tonight your teen should walk away with hard truths that will help them be bold in their faith and in the resurrection of Jesus.
